"Looked exactly like the photos"
I was relieved when this arrived because it looked just like the pictures. The description was accurate, the fit was right, and the fabric felt how I expected. No surprises, which definitely put me in a good mood.

"Still waiting for it to arrive"
I still haven’t received it yet, so I can’t really say much about the actual product at this point. I placed the order and have been waiting for it to show up, but as of now it’s still not here. I’ll be able to give a better review once it actually arrives and I can see what it’s like, but right now my experience is mostly just waiting.

"Such a lovely little shopping trip"
I popped into the store to try on a coat I’d been eyeing online, and it ended up being such a nice experience. The staff were genuinely friendly without hovering, which I really appreciated. The whole shop had a calm feel to it, and I liked that the sizes were easy to find because it reminded me of the kind of stress-free shopping trips I used to have with my sister. Checkout was quick too. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but the quality feels worth it, and I’m really happy I bought the coat...

"Still unclear about their sustainability"
I wish they were a lot more upfront with real details about their sustainability efforts. It feels like you just get vague statements, and when you try to find more, it’s the same automated system-style answers that don’t really tell you anything. I’d rather hear something clear and honest from an actual person.

"Why is everything always out of stock??"
I’ve been wanting to order from toteme for a while, but the stock situation is so frustrating?? I’ll find something I actually love, get excited, and then my size is already gone.
I signed up for the restock alerts thinking that would help, but either I never hear anything or it’s sold out again by the time I check. Like, am I supposed to be refreshing the site all day??

For how expensive everything is, it shouldn’t be this hard to actually buy something. At this point it just feels like I’m wasting time checking back over and over.

"Nice knit, but the quality and policies are a bit frustrating"
I ordered a knit top from Toteme the fabric does feel really nice. It’s soft and a little heavier than I expected, and the fit is flattering too. But after only a few wears, I started noticing small pilling on the sleeves, which is disappointing for the price. I also get annoyed with the way brands can kind of hide behind policy loopholes when something is technically “worn,” even if the issue shows up way too fast. I’ll still wear it because it does look good, but I’m not totally convinced the quality matches what they charge. 3 stars feels fair

"Looks nice, but blends together a bit"
At first glance, it looks good and has a clean overall style. I did find myself noticing little details, though, like how some of the shapes, colors, and spacing start to feel really similar after a while. Nothing looks bad exactly, but it all kind of blends together and feels a bit samey once you spend more time with it.

"Nice clothes, frustrating return process"
The clothes are really nice, but the return process was more annoying than it should’ve been. I had to wait way too long for confirmation, and the exchange instructions weren’t very clear. Customer service did reply eventually, but it felt slow and like I was being passed around instead of getting a straight answer. For the price, I expected returns and exchanges to be a lot smoother

"Weird Fit for the Price"
So now I’m stuck dealing with a return, which is annoying. I ordered my usual size from Toteme and even checked the size guide first, but the fit was just off. The body of the sweater was huge, while the arms felt tight, which made no sense. For something at this price, I expected the sizing to be a lot more accurate.

"Payment kept failing"

"Love the style, wish the site was smoother"
I really like Toteme’s look, or at least that’s what I remember most because the clothes are definitely what sticks with me. The website, though, was kind of annoying to use. Pages felt slow, and the filters didn’t always remember what I’d selected, so I kept ending up back in the same scroll of items like I hadn’t just done it. Checkout on my phone wasn’t great either. I had to put my address in again at one point, which was irritating. I’m probably blocking out some of the smaller stuff, but overall it wasn’t terrible, just not as smooth as I expected...

"Refund Took Way Too Long"
I returned my order about three weeks ago and had to keep chasing them for the refund. From my side, the tracking clearly showed it had already arrived, but support kept telling me it was still being checked. They did reply, so I’ll give them that, but the responses were slow and not very clear. I did get my money back eventually, but waiting that long for a refund was frustrating.

"Nice pieces, but the sizing is frustrating"
Well... I really do like the look of Toteme. The pieces are clean, simple, and easy to picture wearing a lot, but the sizing range is disappointing. A lot of items seem to stop way too soon, and if you’re not in the smaller sizes, it can feel like you’re just left out.
For what they charge, I expected the availability to be better. It gets old checking back again and again only to still not find my size. Nice stuff, but the sizing situation makes shopping there more frustrating than it should be.

"I bought a coat from toteme…"
I bought a coat from Toteme and after wearing it pretty much all winter, I’m still really happy with it. The whole ordering process was easy and straightforward, which I always appreciate. The stitching feels solid, and the fabric has held its shape really well, even after I got caught in light rain a couple of times. I’m giving it 4 stars mainly because the price is definitely on the higher side and delivery wasn’t the fastest. That said, the craftsmanship is great and it feels like a coat I’ll be wearing for years...

"Duties were actually clear"
I ordered from Toteme and, to be fair, the duties and taxes were shown before I paid, which I appreciated. I was half expecting some random extra charge after delivery, but nothing weird came up. It was still more expensive than I’d like overall, but I have to give them credit for being upfront about it.

"Okay, so the material is actually…"
Okay, so the material is actually really soft, which I do like. But it’s a bit thinner than I was expecting, and that kind of threw me off. Like, why does everything look a little more substantial online and then show up feeling lighter than you thought? It’s not bad, just not quite what I had in mind
